Twitter Party in Los Cabos

 Social networks have great advantages when it comes to spreading brands, news or even travel destinations. One of them is the speed with which a large number of people can be reached in different parts of the world.

Twitter, is the fastest online news and social networking site, where users in 140 characters can send "tweets" and interact with their followers.

TENDENCIA, El Arte de Viajar, together with El Squid Roe and Choya Grafica organized for the first time in Los Cabos a "Twitter Party" with the main goal of promoting activities, restaurants the destination’s natural beauty. An innovative way to encourage twitters to visit this place.

Throughout the day the Tourism Board, hotels, restaurants, tour operators and of course the Twitter community joined the party, sharing images, links and phrases that invited to "Explore Los Cabos".

The enthusiasm is contagious and thus accounts not linked to the destination also shared using the phrase #ExploreLosCabos!

The results were very encouraging. It was intended to position the phrase #ExploreLosCabos among the first trending topics. During the first hour it reached to position number 5 and only an hour and a half later reached the first place, which was maintained for several minutes.

What impact did this have on Los Cabos?

A total of 531 accounts achieved 4,223,591 visualization impacts. Each participant had an average of 3,730 followers in their respective accounts. Thus in a single day 1,980,630 people read a news of LOS CABOS.


Pictures of the beach, a refreshing drink at the seaside, an incredible adventure with friends or a romantic couple dinner will definitely put Los Cabos on the list of must destinations to visit.
